In December, MENDO, Galerie Ron Mandos and Studio Erwin Olaf present the publication of Erwin Olaf, April Fool 2020. The book will launch on the weekend of 12 and 13 December 2020. Since our physical store had to close, a limited number of copies is now available online.
Galerie Ron Mandos, MENDO, and Studio Erwin Olaf are proud to present the publication of Erwin Olaf, April Fool 2020. This stunning new book designed by MENDO contains all photographic works from April Fool 2020, as well as some explanatory texts and a conversation between Erwin Olaf and Erik van Ginkel, Managing Director of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Book launch
The book, that releases in December is published in a limited edition of 350 copies. The copies available for online pre-order are sold out. The book launched at MENDO on the weekend of 12 and 13 December 2020. Since our physical store had to close, a limited number of copies is now available online.

About the book
The book contains on Erwin Olaf’s works from April Fool 2020, a visual documentation of the current coronavirus pandemic. It’s an intimate series, involving Erwin Olaf himself in almost every scene, each of which is impressively stylized and meticulously choreographed in his characteristic style.
