Get ready for the denim book of the year
‘A Decade of DENHAM’ is available now
Jeanmaker DENHAM celebrates its 10-year anniversary with a mouthwatering coffee table book, a MENDO-DENHAM collaboration, to commemorate its decade-long journey in jean making.
“The year has only just begun, but we’re confident that A Decade of DENHAM will be *the* denim book of 2018. And not just because we’re the ones that are publishing it”, explains MENDO’s Gunifort.
DENHAM the Jeanmaker is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with ‘A Decade of DENHAM’, a commemorative coffee table book that follows the brand’s journey to date. “It’s 500 pages of how to build a denim brand, all wrapped up in the highest quality of paper, print and different stocks,” Gunifort explains. Spanning 512 pages, the anthology encompasses all things DENHAM: jeans, scissors, retail, staff, collections and more.
‘A Decade of DENHAM’ is all about the recollections of DENHAM founder and name giver Jason Denham, who runs his business just around the corner from MENDO. “Jason isn’t a “far away” business man, but is a very good friend of MENDO,” Gunifort says. “He’s an avid book collector and connoisseur of all things beautiful, rare and special. He walks into our store with his dog for a coffee, and is super down to earth. Jason started his brand in the same neighbourhood as us, and the growth he’s accomplished with DENHAM in ten years time is something we really admire.”
‘I feel like we’ve grown up with MENDO, because they opened two years before us, just around the corner’

One of our favorite chapters: scissor art by DENHAM
The collectible book explores the spirit of DENHAM: the people, principles and ethos that makes Jason’s brand unique. The storytelling is complemented with over 800 stunning photos and a great cover. Gunifort: “The indigo blue cover, the “Truth is in the details” text along the edges and the copper finish all make it a beautiful object to have at home. I think it’s going to be the denim book of this year.”
Denim junkies can get their own copy of ‘A Decade of DENHAM’ now, as the book is available in selected DENHAM stores and in our MENDO Flagship Store. The regular edition is available for € 75. Exclusively for MENDO, MENDO and DENHAM created an edition, limited to 100 copies that are signed by Jason Denham and come with a print of Ali Kirby’s Scissor Skull.
