Xue Qiwen, 43, in her Shanghai apartment, decorated with furniture from her favorite brand, Versace, 2005. In 1994 Xue started a company that sells industrial cable and has since run four more. She is a member of three golf clubs, each costing approximately $100,000 to join.
“Despite the dramatic divisions in the city revealed by the L.A. riots … rich kids and poor kids had found common ground that their parents had not, and it was a shared love for Versace,” she writes in her new book.
The book contains over 600 images ranging from Tupac playing craps in Las Vegas, losing $10,000 in minutes (1995), Playmates at Hugh Hefners Playboy Mansion’s grotto (2000) and the 43-year old business woman Xue Qiwen, in her Shanghai apartment, decorated with furniture from her favorite brand, Versace, 2005.
