A MENDO publication is a well-designed book with visually stunning creative content, browsed by people to be amazed and inspired. The subject-matter is one of our pre-defined curated categories, fashion, photography, interior, sport, lifestyle, food and traveling. In general, a MENDO book is a piece of furniture in itself.
A departure from the traditional fashion magazine format
For Issue One, Perfect continues to build on the global network of image-makers which we established six months ago with their soft-launch prototype, Issue Zero. Their collaborators in this issue cover cities across the world.
The Perfect team has also created bespoke content for fashion brands such as Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, AMI Paris, Burberry, Chanel, Michael Kors, Lacoste and Boucheron, as well as special projects for Instagram in Paris and New York.
Issue One is an homage to fashion – specifically, the life-enhancing sense of joy that great fashion can inspire – and features interviews with a vast variety of designers, including Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk of Area, Olivier Rousteing, Bianca Saunders, Richard Quinn, Jean Paul Gaultier, Michaela Stark, Claire Choisne, Christopher John Rogers, Tom Ford, Anthony Vaccarello, Pierpaolo Piccioli and Schiaparelli’s artistic director Daniel Roseberry, as well a rundown of the most innovative designers and fashion brands emerging from the creative centres of Accra, Moscow and Shanghai.

Well known public figures appearing in the issue include musician Eliot Sumner, influencer Bretman Rock, models Gigi Hadid, Kristen McMenamy, Lila Moss and Abbey Lee Kershaw, and TV personality Paris Hilton.
Such is the quality of content in Perfect Issue One that almost every single image has been treated to its own cover. There are 422 cover in all, printed in runs of varying sizes, so some are rarer than others. Covers will be shipped at random.
