Since Vogue is already claiming serious shelf space in our fashion segment, we’ve become slightly reluctant when it comes to new titles, like Dogs In Vogue, because… why? The ‘untold’ editor’s perspective didn’t sound like a revelation to be honest. But, again, we’re a sucker for this publication about Vogue. Partly because publishers Abrams cuts the b.s. and lets the images, telling the story of eight of Vogues most outstanding editors, do the talking. But also because the images telling these stories were shot by Avedon, Newton, Klein, Von Unwerth, Demarchellier, Penn, Leibovitz, Weber, Testino, Walker, Ritts, Lindbergh and others. Plus it is seriously sized and friendly in terms of price. So here we go again: another must-have publication about the must-have magazine.
The book focuses on the work of eight of the magazine’s legendary fashion editors
The Editor’s Eye is a lavishly illustrated look at the visionary editors whose works continue to reverberate in the culture today.
